Reefmaster med oppdatering - viktig info for eldre Lowrance/Simrad enheter

Reefmaster har sluppet en vedlikeholdsoppdatering. Bruker du programvaren, så husk å klikke på "Check for updates" neste gang du skal lage kart.

Det to største endringene er viktige, både for brukere med nyere og eldre enheter fra Lowrance og Simrad. Den første er at dersom man også oppdaterer Insight Map Creator kan man på HDS-modeller bruke en funksjon som markerer bestemte dybdeintervaller. Dette kan da gjøres i HDSen på vannet, så ønsker man for eksempel å fiske på 5-10 meters nivå langsmed land kan man markere dette intervallet spesielt i kartet.

Dette er delvis en konsekvens av den andre viktige endringen, overgang fra å bruke Atlas 10 til Atlas 12 som standardeksport i Insight Map Creator. Tidligere har standarden vært Atlas 10, nå blir den altså Atlas 12. Enkelt sagt gir Atlas 12 flere muligheter, men ulempen er at eldre enheter IKKE støtter Atlas 12. Lowrance LMS og forrige generasjon Elite (den før Elite HDI og Elite CHIRP) kan ikke vise kart laget i Atlas 12 skikkelig. Lager du kart til eldre enheter, kan du velge å bruke Atlas 10 som eksport manuelt.

Fremover kommer kartene for HDS på www.dybdekart.no til å være laget med Atlas 12, og vil derfor støtte funksjonen for å markere dybdeintervall. Kartene for Elite vil være laget med Atlas 10, og kan derfor brukes av eldre enheter som før.
