Hva passer vel bedre en fredags kveld enn litt lett sidescan-informasjon?

Dette bildet er fra en sonarlogg Terje sendte meg. Han har nettopp kjøpt en Lowrance Elite 7 Ti med Totalscan ekkoloddgiver og loggen er fra hans første tur med det nye leketøyet. Dette er Terjes første enhet med sidescan, så her er det neppe gjort alt for mange fancy innstillinger, dette er bildekvalitet de fleste bør klare å få til. Sidescan er ganske enkelt innstillingsmessig, så lenge ekkoloddgiveren er riktig montert og justert så den er i vater.

Dybden her er 5-6 meter. Som du ser har jeg lagt på litt tekst som forklarer hva man ser. Bildet er fra sonarleseren som følger med i Reefmasters kartprogramvare.

Sidescan ser altså ut til hver side av båten, og den mørke linjen i midten er båtens kjøllinje. For å se det som er rett under båten, bruker man downscan.
