Softwareoppdatering for Humminbird ONIX - og ny fjernkontroll

Endelig har Humminbird gjort noe med nettverksmulighetene i ONIX versus de klassiske modellseriene sine.

Software 2.300 til ONIX er nettopp sluppet, og nå begynner ONIX å bli en reell konkurrent for opptil flere merker. Den største nyheten i denne oppdateringen er muligheten for å kjøre ONIX i nettverk med de klassiske 800-, 900- og 1100- modellene.

Dessverre sier informasjonen ikke nøyaktig hva som kan deles på dette nettverket, utover waypoints. Det er lov å håpe at ekkoloddbilde, kartbilde og radarbilde kan deles, men det er litt merkelig at dette ikke listes opp? Vi lar uansett tvilen komme Humminbird til gode og gir nettverksmuligheten en tommel opp.

Humminbird har også kommet med en trådløs fjernkontroll til ONIX, kalt AS RC 1. Denne bruker blåtann (Bluetooth) og baserer seg på at du kobler en mottager til Onixen, og så kan styre de mest brukte funksjonene fra fjernkontrollen.
