Humminbird/ Lakemaster med nyhet (i USA)

Etter at det svenske kartprogrammet Dr Depth ble kjøpt av det samme selskapet som eier Humminbird og Lakemaster, har de fått fart på kartdelen av sine produkter. Siste skudd mot blinken er et produkt som heter Lakemaster, som er dybdekart med informasjon om vannenes fiskearter og hvor i vannet det er størst sannsynlighet for å treffe på en art avhengig av sesong, tid på døgnet og vær.

Lakemaster er foreløpig bare tilgjengelig på den andre siden av Atlanterhavet, og kun for Humminbird sine nye modeller ONIX og ION. Men det sier litt om hva teknologien bak et moderne dybdekart kan brukes til. Det er liten tvil om at Lowrance med Insight Genesis og Humminbird med Lakemaster og AutoChart kjemper hardt om å "lede" på kartfronten, noe som kommer oss brukere til gode.
